VANESSA LEITE<\/h4>

Holds a degree in Psychology from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1990), a Master’s degree in Public Health (2009), and a PhD in Public Health (2014) from the Institute of Social Medicine at the State University of Rio de Janeiro (IMS\/UERJ). Completed postdoctoral research at IMS\/UERJ (2016\u20132018) and at the Institute of Health and Society of the Federal University of S\u00e3o Paulo \u2013 ISS\/UNIFESP (2020\u20132022). Has been an associate researcher at the Latin American Center on Sexuality and Human Rights (CLAM\/IMS\/UERJ) since 2008, where, among other roles, worked on the development and coordination of the Specialization Course in Gender and Sexuality (EGeS\/CLAM). Currently serves as an academic consultant for the UERJ Unit advising the State Program Rio without LGBTIphobia and provides consultancy to civil society organizations and public agencies. Has professional experience in the field of advocacy, promotion, and protection of the rights of youth, women, and the LGBTI+ population. Her studies have focused on the following topics: sexuality, gender, human rights, and public policy.<\/p>
