HORACIO S\u00cdVORI<\/h4>

Associate Professor at the Institute of Social Medicine at the State University of Rio de Janeiro, in the Department of Health Policies and Institutions. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociocultural Anthropology from the Universidad Nacional de Rosario (1992), a Master\u2019s degree in Anthropology from New York University (1994), and a PhD in Social Anthropology from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2007). He completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Public Health at the Institute of Social Medicine, State University of Rio de Janeiro, from 2009 to 2014. He is a researcher and member of the executive committee of the Latin American Center on Sexuality and Human Rights (CLAM\/IMS\/UERJ). His research focuses on sexuality and politics, social movements, conservatism, gender, violence and politics, political engagement on social media, scholarly knowledge, and legal activism.<\/p>
