MARINA NUCCI<\/span><\/h4>

Associate Professor in the Department of Health Policy and Institutions at the Institute of Social Medicine of the State University of Rio de Janeiro (IMS\/UERJ).
She holds a degree in Social Sciences from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She earned both her Master\u2019s and PhD in Public Health from IMS\/UERJ. She completed postdoctoral research at the Casa de Oswaldo Cruz (COC\/Fiocruz) on the project Medicalization of Births, coordinated by Luiz Antonio Teixeira, and at IMS\/UERJ with a \u201cNota 10\u201d Postdoctoral Fellowship from FAPERJ, conducting research titled Nature, Gender, Science, and Morality in Discourses on Motherhood and Breastfeeding. She is a researcher affiliated with the Latin American Center on Sexuality and Human Rights (CLAM\/IMS\/UERJ), a member of the editorial team of the journal\u00a0Sexualidad Salud y Sociedad<\/em>, and a member of REMA (Transnational Research Network on Dispossessed, Violated, and Violent Motherhoods). Her research interests include gender, sexuality, motherhood, medicalization, and the social studies of science.
