ANT\u00d4NIO CERDEIRA PIL\u00c3O<\/h4>

Antonio Cerdeira Pil\u00e3o is a Marie Curie Researcher (MSCA\u2013UKRI Guarantee) at Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) and a member of the research group Contemporary Intimacies, Sexualities and Genders<\/em> (CISG) at the same institution. He is currently developing at MMU the project Families and Parenthoods at the Margins of the State: Consensual Non-Monogamies and Multiparenting in the United Kingdom and Brazil (FAKIM-CNM)<\/em>, in partnership with CLAM\/IMS-UERJ.<\/p>

He holds a PhD in Human Sciences (Cultural Anthropology) and a Master\u2019s degree in Sociology (with a concentration in Anthropology) from the Graduate Program in Sociology and Anthropology (PPGSA) at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), with a doctoral fellowship abroad at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili (Spain). He is the coordinator of the research group Politics, Affects, and Non-Monogamous Sexualities<\/em> (CNPq Directory) and a member of the International Commission on Global Feminisms and Queer Politics<\/em> of the Union of Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences<\/em> (IUAES).<\/p>

He conducted postdoctoral research funded by FAPESP at the Graduate Program in Public Health at the University of S\u00e3o Paulo (USP), within the research group Reproductive Health, Gender and Society<\/em>, and by CNPq at the Graduate Program in Social Anthropology at USP, linked to the Center for the Study of Social Markers of Difference (NUMAS-USP) and the Center for Anthropology of Law (NADIR-USP). He also carried out postdoctoral research at the Graduate Program in Social Sciences of the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (PPGCSO-UFJF), as part of the research group Family, Emotions, Gender and Sexuality<\/em> (FEGS-UFJF).<\/p>

In addition, he was a visiting researcher at the Institute on Inequalities in Global Health<\/em> at the University of Southern California (USC). His research experience lies in Anthropology and Urban Sociology, with emphasis on gender and sexuality, family and kinship, sexual rights and policies, emotions, conjugalities, polyamory and non-monogamous relationships, aging, youth, and generations.<\/p>
