Por medio del di\u00e1logo entre la universidad, movimientos sociales y formuladores de pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas en Latinoam\u00e9rica, el Centro articula investigadores, activistas y otros colaboradores interesados en fomentar el debate sobre la sexualidad y los derechos sexuales, coordinando actividades regionales de Brasil, Argentina, Chile, Per\u00fa y Colombia.<\/p><p>Creado en 2002, el Centro Latinoamericano en Sexualidad y Derechos Humanos es un proyecto del Programa de Estudios e Investigaciones en G\u00e9nero, Sexualidad y Salud del Instituto de Medicina Social de la Universidad del Estado de Rio de Janeiro, instituci\u00f3n que desde hace cuatro d\u00e9cadas desarrolla investigaciones en sexualidad, g\u00e9nero y salud.<\/p><p>Dicha iniciativa integra el proyecto internacional Di\u00e1logo Global sobre Salud y Bienestar Sexual, implementado tambi\u00e9n en Asia, \u00c1frica y EUA con el apoyo de la Fundaci\u00f3n
