Bruno Zilli

He holds a degree in Social Sciences (Bachelor’s and Licentiate) from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ, 2004). He earned a master’s degree in Public Health from the Institute of Social Medicine (IMS/UERJ, 2007) and a PhD in Social Sciences from the Graduate Program in Social Sciences (PPCIS/UERJ, 2012). He completed postdoctoral research at IMS/UERJ (2014–2015). He is an associate member of the Latin American Center on Sexuality and Human Rights (CLAM/IMS/UERJ). He served as executive editor of the journal Sexualidad, Salud y Sociedad – Revista Latinoamericana (2016–2024) and has been the editorial coordinator of CEBRI-Revista since 2021. He was an adjunct professor in the Department of Social Sciences at UERJ (2009–2010) and a guest lecturer in courses at IMS/UERJ (2014, 2016, 2018). His research focuses on Anthropology, particularly in the subfields of medical anthropology, the anthropology of emotions, and internet anthropology, with a primary emphasis on the following topics: sexuality, gender, sexual rights, human rights, psychiatry, and communication and information technologies.Email: brunozilli@gmail.com
