Peru: Politics in Sexuality

This book presents a general overview of the laws, jurisprudence and public policies on sexuality in present-day Peru. In addition to analyzing the legislation and government actions, the study addresses speeches, proposals and demands arising from different groups and actors. As part of the process of producing knowledge on the subject, the research team invited agents from the State, academics and civil society to hold public discussions under the following thematic topics: sexual violence against women, sexual violence and armed conflict, sexual diversity, and abortion.
