As a result of an initiative by CLAM together with researchers from the Universidad Católica del Norte and activists from the Unified Movement of Sexual Minorities (MUMS), the book Politics, Rights, Violence and Sexual Diversity: First Encuesta Marcha del Pride and Sexual Diversity-Santiago de Chile 2007 presents data that allow mapping the patrons of violence and discrimination to which gays, lesbians, transvestites, transsexuals and bisexuals are subject. In turn, it brings a social and political profile of the people and participants of the pride marches and, by extension, of the LGBT population in the country.
