The formation of a field of studies: State of the Art on Sexuality in Mexico, 1996-2008, by Rodrigo Parrini and Antonio Hernández, presents a balance of the accumulated knowledge on sexuality in disciplines from the social and human sciences and also from interdisciplinary areas como los estudios de población y del campo de la saludpublica en México.
