The result of an initiative by CLAM in collaboration with researchers from the Universidad Católica del Norte and activists from the Unified Movement of Sexual Minorities (MUMS), the book Politics, Rights, Violence, and Sexual Diversity: First Survey of the Pride and Sexual Diversity March – Santiago de Chile 2007 presents data that map the patterns of violence and discrimination to which gays, lesbians, travestis, transsexuals, and bisexuals are subjected. It also outlines the social and political profile of the Pride March participants and, by extension, of the LGBT population in the country.
