Based on an ethnography of the Parliamentary Inquiry Commission (CPI) on Pedophilia in the Federal Senate and investigations by the Federal Police into the fight against child pornography, the book delves into the historical construction of criminal categories that today refer to sexual violence involving minors. From an anthropological perspective, it seeks to discuss the social, cultural, and moral dynamics that shape the configuration of the problem of sexual violence against children and adolescents, through the category of pedophilia.
