The Latin American Center for Sexuality and Human Rights – CLAM/IMS/UERJ is seeking 2 undergraduate students from UERJ, with active enrollment, preferably from the fields of Social Communication, Social Sciences, Psychology, Education, Humanities, or related areas (up to the 6th semester). Work hours: approximately 4 hours per day, up to 20 hours per week. Competence in Spanish and English is desirable. Extension scholarships can only be combined with permanence scholarships.
Positions:
- CLAM Communication Project, focused on activities related to scientific dissemination. Desired skills: assistance in maintaining CLAM’s institutional website (clam.org.br) and social media accounts (clam_ims_uerj and www.facebook.com/clam.ims.uerj); handling of cataloging and online publishing tools; managing mailings; administration of institutional social media accounts; development of audiovisual content. Background and/or interest in gender and sexuality is preferred. Tasks include daily updating of institutional communication channels, participating in team meetings, and supporting extension teaching activities such as academic events.
- “Sexualidad, salud y sociedad – Revista Latino-americana” (https://www.scielo.br/j/sess/). This scientific journal is linked to the Latin American Center for Sexuality and Human Rights (CLAM/IMS/UERJ) and publishes articles focusing on the Latin American context. Desired profile: student interested in health, gender, sexuality, and human rights themes, as well as in scientific article dissemination and learning about the editorial workflow of a journal. Main tasks: assisting in managing the editorial process, correspondence between editors and authors, and strengthening the promotion of the journal’s outputs.
