Barbara Pires is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Social Medicine at the State University of Rio de Janeiro. She is a member of the Latin American Center on Sexuality and Human Rights (CLAM – IMS/UERJ) and the Center for Studies in Bodies, Genders and Sexualities (NuSEX – MN/UFRJ)
