Psychologist (CRP/05 34086) graduated from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (1997/98), master’s degree holder, and PhD candidate in Collective Health (Human Sciences Applied to Health) at the Hesio Cordeiro Institute of Social Medicine at UERJ, conducting research on gender and religion funded by a CNPq scholarship. Collaborator in the Psychology and Secularism section of the Regional Human Rights Commission of CRP-RJ from 2015-2019 and in the Secularism and Psychology section of CRP-RJ during the 2020-2022 administration. An activist in the Brazilian LGBTQI+ Catholic movement since 2008, she was part of the coordination team of the National Network of LGBT Catholic Groups from 2018-2021 and has been a coordinator of the Global Network of Rainbow Catholics (GNRC) since December 2020. She is also an activist with Catholics for the Right to Decide.
