Fernanda LOUREIRO
PhD candidate in the Graduate Program in Public Health, with a concentration in Human Sciences and Health, at the Instituto de Medicina Social Hesio Cordeiro, State University of Rio de Janeiro (IMS/UERJ), with a research exchange period at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto (2021-2022). Holds a Master’s degree in Public Health from IMS/UERJ (2017), a specialization in Consumer and Behavior Research (2013) and in Fashion Design (2007), both from SENAI CETIQT, and a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences – Medical Modality (Biomedicine) from the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (2002). Her research focuses on the intersection of Public Health and Medical Anthropology, with an emphasis on social studies of science, gender studies, reproduction, migration, and health education.
