Vanessa Leite 

Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1990), a Master’s degree in Public Health (2009), and a PhD in Public Health (2014) from the Institute of Social Medicine at the State University of Rio de Janeiro (IMS/UERJ). Completed a postdoctoral fellowship at IMS/UERJ (2016–2018). Is an associate researcher at the Latin American Center on Sexuality and Human Rights (CLAM/IMS/UERJ) and provides consultancy to civil society organizations. Has professional experience in the advocacy, promotion, and protection of the rights of adolescents, youth, women, and the LGBTI+ population. Her studies focus on the following themes: sexuality, gender, human rights, and public policies. Currently, she is a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Health and Society of the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP).
