Vanessa Jorge Leite holds a degree in Psychology from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1990), a master’s degree in Public Health (2009) and a PhD in Public Health (2014) from the Institute of Social Medicine of the University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (IMS/UERJ). She held a postdoctoral degree at IMS/UERJ from 2016-2018. She is a research associate at the Latin American Center on Sexuality and Human Rights (CLAM / IMS / UERJ) and provides consultancy to organizations in civil society. She has professional experience in the area of defense, promotion and guarantee of the rights of adolescents, youth, women and the LGBTI + population. She has dedicated her studies to the following topics: sexuality, gender, human rights and public policy. She is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Health and Society at the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP).
